Deb Conroy
Deb is the "oldest" employee of The Westerly Nursing Home - not in age, of course, but in the number of years of service. Deb has been a certified Nursing Assistant at this facility since July 6, 1974!!!
Although Deb continues to work as a CNA, she has also expanded her resume to include staff scheduling and restorative aide. She wears all of her hats very well and we feel very fortunate to have Deb as an integral part of our family.
Loyalty and devotion are a hallmark to Deb, she is originally from Westerly and married John Conroy in April of 1982. She has three children: Jamie, Joanne and John Jr. She is also the proud grandmother of Evelyn, Cooper, Ella and Jacob. Deb is a good friend and an expert at her chosen profession. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the gym and traveling.
We are very proud of Deb and her compassionate knowledge of our residents and her friendly devotion to her co-workers. Perhaps Paul Martin, the administrator, puts it best - "Spending her entire career in one profession and in one ‘home' is the epitome of loyalty".
Thank you Deb. For all your years of service to The Westerly Nursing Home, you have earned the distinction of being the very first "Featured Employee"!!
